Voices Lifted is a Phoenix-area vocal ensemble that offers comfort to patients and their families through song. Our all-female group visits hospices, hospitals and homes, singing at the bedsides of the sick, hurt and dying. We also perform at senior centers and similar community settings.
We maintain an extensive repertoire of folk songs, hymns, inspirational songs, and old standards, and we are happy to perform whatever songs the patient or family requests. The slideshow below provides a sample of our a capella work.
Our group was founded with help from a grant awarded by the UUA Fund for Social Responsibility to the Valley Unitarian Universalist Congregation. We thank both organizations for their continued support.
